Unlike just about every other short-run, digital printing company, Avalon Color uses
only superior media with our Xerox 700 digital press, which features state-of-art oilless (good for the planet!) toner, which helps to produce offset-like results.
And, Avalon has selected, and continuously strives to maintain, an inventory of the finest media available today. This helps to ensure that your short run, digital printing projects will look amazing every time.
Along with our everyday 32 lb. white bond paper, our professional media includes:
- Manadnock Astrolite Bright White for acid-free printing. A premium brilliant white paper of unmatched fiber formation, high opacity and dimensional stability, it is also Alkaline pH (acid-free) and buffered for longevity. Also, Astrolite is FSC certified, Green-e certified, and made with Chlorine Free Manufacturing. - NewPage Futura for postcards, calendars, brochures, flyers, product lists, and tradeshow pieces. This line of paper is FSC* and SFI** certified. ($$)
- Classic Crest Premium Smooth Uncoated Papers for resumes and other important materials that require select paper, like business proposals. Classic Crest is FSC certified, 100% Green-e*** certified, and is made carbon neutral. ($$+)
- Sappi Galerie Art.XP, in gloss and silk, for high-end printed presentation material. This line of paper is Green-e certified paper. ($$$)
